We're Ingrid and Lesley, founders of The Declutter Hub.

We love helping people navigate the emotional and practical challenges of clearing clutter. 

We live, eat and breathe decluttering. In our eyes, the less clutter there is in people's homes, the better.

Tuesday 5th MAY - UNDERSTANDING WHY DECLuttering your clothes is hard

Preparation is arguably the most critical part of any decluttering project. We will teach you how to hit the ground running for your clothing decluttering project.

We just LOVE clothes, don't we? What if I need them again one day, what if I lose weight, what if they come back into fashion, what if I regret decluttering them? It's so very very hard to take control of our clothes so let's give you some tried and tested formulas to take back control.

BUT there are so many what ifs and powerful emotions in the decluttering world. We need to understand and work through them so we are comfortable with the decisions we are making.

WEDNESDAY 6th MAY - HOW TO get YOUR DECLUTTERING PROJECT STARTed and Finished 

BUT how do we actually organise our wardrobes. Should I hang or fold? Workwear with leisure wear? Dresses with skirts? There's no right or wrong answer - the most important thing is that you create a system that works in tune with your life. We show you what we think works after 30 combined years in the business and hundreds of clothes declutters under our belts.

THURSDAY 7th MAY - Q&A session

Every home is different. Every person is different. Everyone's level of tolerance is different. So you will undoubtedly have questions about YOUR situation. In the Q&A, we will answer all your questions about your clothes, your wardrobes and the emotions you are struggling with to ensure you have what you need to start your decluttering project with gusto.

 FRIDAY TO SUNDAY - WARDROBE WEEKEND

You've done all the learning and are now fully geared up to clear out your clothes and reorganise the ones you want to keep. So it's time for action. Wardrobe weekend is where you start working on creating a wardrobe or closet of your dreams.

MONDAY 11th MAY - WRAP UP

A big part of decluttering success is sharing your wins. It's time to share your progress with your fellow challengers and see how far you have come. How have things been different this time? On Monday we go live again to wrap up the challenge, discuss your learnings and inspire you to continue your quest for a clutter free home in other rooms.
