DECLUTTER HUB MEMBERSHIP TERMS FOR PAYING MEMBERS

These Terms cannot be varied and in proceeding to purchase the Membership or a Standalone Course you will be deemed to have accepted these Terms. Please read them carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under law and set out the Terms under which The Declutter Hub (“we”, “our” or “us”) provide services to you, as purchaser of the Membership or course. These Terms are subject to any rights you have under consumer law to which we are bound and which cannot be waived by contract.

Please be aware that we may update these Terms at any time to meet the needs of the business. Your continued use of the Membership indicates your acceptance of the terms and agreement to any changes.

The Declutter Hub Membership is a membership site for online training, courses, resources and other content relating to decluttering and organising your home (the “Service”). The Membership is an ongoing commitment where you can get regular support and guidance. Our standalone courses are self-study only.

This membership and courses are suitable for those who are over the age of 18 and have struggled in the past to declutter and organise their home or want support and inspiration to do so.

There are four main elements to the Membership:

  • Self-Study with the Roadmap and Course Library
  • Fortnightly Q&A Sessions
  • Co-working Success Sessions several times a week
  • A private community forum

Self-Study - The Reset Your Home Roadmap is a comprehensive collection of lessons, show rounds and checklists to guide you right through your home in an order that will help you progress gradually. In addition, all Roadmap content is available to study in an order of your own choosing in our course library. The course library also has additional live and guest sessions which are offered from time to time.  The lessons are delivered in short videos by Ingrid and Lesley and any guests. This is self-study and you will work through this independently. For best results you should work through the Roadmap. Failure to do so may limit your ability to learn from the tips and guidance shared in the Q&A sessions. The content of all resources and training will be provided in English, translations are not currently available and we will not be liable for any misinterpretation of information caused by anyone using any translator or translation app in connection with our content and/or resources.

Question & Answer Sessions - Each two weeks you will get the chance to ask questions about decluttering and organising your home and get detailed information from both Ingrid and Lesley about how to do this in a live session. The session typically lasts around 90 minutes. You will be asked to submit questions in advance and there will be a live chat. This is your chance to delve deep in to your own situation and ask questions that will give you additional insight. All time zones are considered when scheduling Q&A sessions and all sessions are recorded by us and available on replay. During live Q and A sessions you agree:

  • NOT to record or take any screenshots or photographs of live Q and A sessions;
  • To respect the hosts and all others participating in sessions;
  • Not to share any of the details of other members without their prior express permission.

Co-working Success Sessions - At least twice a week, there will be an opportunity to work alongside your fellow members virtually in your decluttering and organising projects. These are led by a member of the Declutter Hub team. After a short introduction a timer will be set and you will work independently for 50 minutes on either self-study, decluttering or organising projects. All time zones are considered when scheduling Success Sessions and whilst we aim to provide a number of options we are not able to guarantee we can meet everyone’s needs. These sessions are hugely motivational and will ensure you take action and have accountability. There is also a solo success session available should you want to carry out a success session at a time that your fellow members are not online.

Private Community Forum - You will have access to a private community forum to support you during the Membership. The intention of the forum is to provide community support and a network of individuals at a similar stage of their decluttering journey and who are facing similar challenges. From time to time, Ingrid, Lesley and other Declutter Hub team members may post and offer support in the forum but there is no guarantee that posts will be responded to immediately or that any forum mailboxes will be monitored. Please be advised that whilst we hope that you will be able to utilise the forum we make no guarantees as to the availability of the forum and/or the content within the forum at any time. Therefore, always ensure that you have back-up copies of any information shared within the group for your ongoing use.

Behaviour - It is requested that at all times your behaviour towards others is polite and respectful. Should your behaviour be deemed offensive or inappropriate we reserve the right to remove you from the Membership with immediate effect. Each person is responsible for their own behaviour and we will not be held responsible for the behaviour or actions of any other Members. If you are unhappy or concerned with the behaviour of any other member please contact us at hello@declutterhub.com

Membership Fees and Payment Terms - The cost of the Membership is set at the time you subscribe and is inclusive of VAT/Taxes. On subscription you will pay monthly, quarterly or annual payments, as agreed by you when signing up, via PayPal or Stripe. The Membership is a recurring subscription and payment will be taken each month, quarter or year as agreed. The courses, challenges and access passes are a one off payment and the cost is set at the time your purchase. We reserve the right to change the content and delivery of the services within the membership.

  • If you are paying on a quarterly subscription this allows you access to the Service for 90 days (or three calendar months, whichever is longer) from the date of your last payment. Failure to pay your quarterly subscription payment will result in access to the Service being stopped;
  • For annual subscriptions you will receive 365 days access (unless it is a leap year when you will receive 366 days). You may cancel the automatic renewal of your annual subscription at any time and your access to the Site will end at the end of the current contracted term;
  • For standalone courses, you will have lifetime access to your course. Lifetime access means as long as The Declutter Hub is operating;
  • For paid challenges and replay access passes you will have access for the time stated at purchase;
  • That access to the Service may at times be influenced and affected by third parties that we use to provide the Service (web hosting, membership site plugins, etc.), the need to update or improve the Site or events beyond our reasonable control and you and understand agree that no breach of contract action may be initiated against The Declutter Hub when there are reasonable temporary delays in the access of the Service.

Refunds and Cancellation - It is our aim that you will be completely happy with the Membership and the progress in your decluttering journey. However, we appreciate that there may come a time when you wish to leave the Membership. You agree:

  • That we offer a 30 day money back guarantee should you be unhappy with the Service in your first month of a monthly, quarterly or annual membership. To request a refund please email support@declutterhub.com
  • The 30 day refund period only applies to your first membership subscription and cannot be used more than once. It does not apply to anyone who has taken up our 14 day trial option and excludes the $1 and £1 trial and standalone courses;
  • You may also cancel your monthly subscription at any time via your account page but due to the nature of the Service no refunds will be made for any membership fees already paid, excluding the 30 day money back guarantee as stated above;
  • That when you cancel you will no longer have access to the Service, including all content and community resources, once your current paid for membership period is completed;
  • No refunds are given should you terminate an annual, quarterly or monthly subscription after the first 30 day refund period but before your renewal date, however you will retain access to the Service until the end of your annual, quarterly or monthly payment term;
  • It is entirely your responsibility to ensure that you cancel your account in good time should you no longer require the Service and do not wish to be billed further;

  • Notwithstanding any right or remedy available to us, we may cancel your Membership with immediate effect if:
  • You fail to pay your Membership fees by the relevant due date;
  • You commit a repudiatory breach of the Terms of this agreement;
  • We decide at our sole discretion from time to time.
